The new DVD is a dynamord quick buck scheme. If your a elle faithful, buy it. If your a casual fan, youtube it. If your a pirate, download it.
The documentary is mixed in with the live. So during the live, there will be breaks where they show footages of the band traveling somewhere or doing activities. Nothing to memorable besides the soccer scene. The live, of course, was flawless and the members played with unrelentless passion and beauty. But the down side is that if you own all the other previous dvds, then you already have heard the songs live. The music video section failed by not having ALL the music videos. (Barefoot, yubiwa, jitterbug non-live) The box reads approx 85min. That's including all the music videos so you end up with less than an hour of actual documentary and concert footage. The documentary is prob around 20+ mins, but I didnt really do the math.
Overall, there could have been more effort in making the dvd. This failed to make up for the post-eleven fire crackers new album that was supposed to come and the BEST album failed too. But at least the BEST album was actually worth buying since the songs were re-mastered.
